Watch Rachel on her morning walk!
I recorded this video on the spur of the moment because I wanted to show you how exercise doesn’t need to be difficult or a big issue. If you’re a coach or a mumpreneur working from home like I do then this could work for you too. You know there are days when I need to be out of the house early too or days when my kids are off school because they are ill. I know! Sometimes life gets in the way.
You see, any activity that you incorporate, that is more than no activity, is a forward step. The reason we often struggle is that we set ourselves targets that are just too difficult to achieve. My goal is to walk every morning. Do I achieve that? No. Does it matter? No!

Because I recognise that when I walk I am doing some good. I recognise that some days I am out teaching sick children in the hospital, I recognise that some days I don’t feel well, some days I have a client to speak to or see and some days I have to prioritise other things. But that doesn’t stop me doing it on the days that I can. There’s no failure in my plan. Success is measured by the fact that on the days that I can walk I do walk.
What you can’t tell from this video is that I recorded it to stop myself acting on my urge to dance down the street to Olly Murs’ Dance With Me Tonight!
Leave me a comment below letting me know how you could incorporate a little more movement and activity into your day 🙂
