I’m so thrilled to be hosting the Business Plus Baby Business Mums Blog Carnival this month and I’ve had some really great blogs submitted that I’ve enjoyed reading this week. My timing could have been better – I’ve also been rushed off my feet with my own business in preparation for half term next week as I always have less time when the children are off – but that’s the life of a mumpreneur I suppose!
So, Helen from Business Plus Baby kicks us off with some advice that she might have liked to have had herself 5 years ago when she became a mumpreneur. Working round children isn’t easy and she has some great tips to share with you that may just make your life a little easier. Hear Helen’s advice for mumpreneurs here.
Tamara at TJ consulting has some more marketing advice for you, this time about how you can use You Tube to market your business.
Many mumpreneurs choose to use WordPress as a platform for their websites – myself included. If that’s you then you might be interested in the WordPress Genie’s blog entry where the discussion focuses on whether your website will ever be finished.
Claire Mitchell from The Girls Mean Business is discussing one of my favourite topics in her blog; Mindset. Her blog is focusing on the Mindset you’ll need to develop to create a successful business.
Another really useful blog comes from Meg at Bloom Online. She’s talking about the age-old issue of how to come up with content for your blog.
And finally we have Rosie from One Man Band Accounting who has managed to make accountancy interesting (who knew 😉 ) with an excellent blog about budgeting using the fairy tale, Cinderella.
Thank you to all this month’s contributors – it’s been a great read!
